The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese My rating: 4 of 5 stars I was a huge fan of the author's previous book "Cutting for Stone" and eager anticipated reading this book. "The Covenant of Water" is an epic family saga that didn't grab me the way his first book did. I really enjoyed the characters but the story sometimes dragged. Even though I loved this book less than "Cutting for Stone" it is still well worth the time invested in reading it. View all my reviews
