I wasn't sure that I was interested, or ready to read about Covid or the pandemic but leave it to Jodi Picoult to craft a riveting story about something that has affected so many people. Home Hydroponics: Small-space DIY growing systems for the kitchen, dining room, living room, bedroom, and bath by Tyler Baras My rating: 5 of 5 stars This books provides detailed information on the principals of hydroponics but also instructions on how to build your own hydroponic gardens for the home. Loved that the author provided crop suggestions as well as problems that could affect the crop due to the method used. Off to build a salad bowl garden now. Can't wait to see the results. Everyone in This Room Will Someday Be Dead by Emily R. Austin My rating: 4 of 5 stars I am not sure how to rate this one. I found this book about Gilda, a depressed and anxious lesbian, quirky and at the same time relatable. Despite the topics of depression, mental illness, addiction, anxiety, and religion, I truly enjoyed the story. View all my reviews
