The Violin ConspiracyThe Violin Conspiracy by Brendan Slocumb
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book has it all; family drama, suspense, and mystery with racism as a backdrop. I was not surprised by the ending but that did not spoil my view of the book. Very compelling storyline and relatable characters. I enjoyed it very much.

Forgetting: The Benefits of Not Remembering by Scott A. Small My rating: 4 of 5 stars This is a detailed, yet readable book on the workings of the brain and. its role in the memory process. Wouldn't it be great if we could choose what we forgot and what we remember, but I digress. View all my reviews
